TKS Session 1: Kickoff
Today was the first day of TKS Calgary Cohort. I got to meet a lot of passionate teens who were all interested in achieving great things, just like me. It was mostly a huge info session full of ice breaker and get to know you activities.
We were given a crash course on the full scope of resources that TKS offers us, and some of the mindsets and formulas that have worked for successful TKS Alumni.
Something that they want us to practice at our TKS sessions is setting intentions. That means that every time we go into a TKS session, we need to have a goal, or intention, that we want to achieve during that time. But what makes this special is that not only will this add value to the time you have, but they are also meant to be specific, that way you are able to focus on exactly what you want to get out of that session.
One thing that stood out to me in today’s session was the T thinking. Basically the T represents your breadth and depth of knowledge, which makes up your passion and everything that you work on.
Now that I’ve gotten started in TKS, you can follow my blog for more content, including the projects and new explore modules I work on.
I am currently working on an AI explore module, and I will have a short blog post about that soon!
We were also lucky enough to be given some cool TKS merch, which is also the header photo for this post.
I hope you enjoy, and I hope you follow along and learn something new!
